Brazilian Butt Lift Buttocks Augmentation

Board-certified plastic surgeons William J. Hedden and J. Stephen Gunn use their skill and artistry to deliver natural results that firm and reshape the buttocks. The Brazilian Butt Lift is performed at our accredited Outpatient Surgery Facility in Birmingham, Alabama.

Most patients are given general anesthesia during the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. Fat is removed from the donor areas with Liposuction and carefully processed. Small amounts of purified fat are then injected at varying depths to ensure that each patient has the highest possible rate of permanent fat absorption. The Brazilian Butt Lift is intended to fill the upper quadrant of the buttocks so that the butt appears lifted with a more rounded, pleasing contour.

Following surgery, patients should avoid sitting directly on the reshaped area for a few weeks and may wear a compression garment to ensure the best possible results. Dr. Hedden or Dr. Gunn will give you full instructions on caring for yourself after surgery. Most patients can return to work in about a week and resume most normal activities within about 3 weeks, though exercise and strenuous activity should be avoided for up to 6 weeks.
